Grab your woolly mittens and that dodgy scarf your Granny knitted because next month, WebbliWorld goes to the Arctic. With the help of WWF, we’ll be featuring all sorts of stories about polar bears, their environment and the threats they face from global warming. As the ice melts, their hunting grounds are literally disappearing beneath their paws. Our main characters, Wij, Wez and Wanda will highlight the main issues and there will also be a fun ‘Name the Webbli Polar Bear’ competition. More on that, soon. Plus, we’ll shortly be announcing the winners of the WWF/Puffin Writing Competition chosen by children’s author, Jeremy Strong.

i won this comp and i am very happy about it global warming is a terrible thing and we should all do our bit to help. well done to all of you who enter and good luck in the other comps!!
