These are very exciting times. The convergence of TV and internet is fast approaching and we want to be at the forefront of that revolution.
Whilst there are already some fantastic online sites for children to visit we want to make the name WebbliWorld synonymous with quality both in terms of design and content. We know that we have a long way to ago to achieve our ultimate goals for WebbliWorld and now that the initial site has been launched we are already working to design and deliver phase two.
We are also interested to get feedback from both users and parents so that we can implement this in our future planning. We want to deliver an experience that is fun, exciting, enlightening and educational - not an easy task but with the fantastic team we have built - ultimately achievable!

A great start! And what a visual explosion your home page is! I am a primary teacher in Nottinghamshire and Gaylene Ravenscroft passed on the details of WebbliWorld to me to explore. I would be happy to help review and explore Phase 1 so as to help you with the future development of the site. It looks fantastic and I know it will be engaging for children at my school. I look forward to seeing more content and the direction you take the site in the future.

As with the last person to commment my attention was brought to the site by Gaylene. It is looking fab! We are on holiday at the moment but when we return - Aug 13 - I will get some kids to have a proper look so we can post you some feedback from Dingwall Primary.

This is looking like a good start at a child-friendly social/infromative area. As with Tom and Sandra i also was directed to your site by Gaylene. What immediately struck me was how it initialy resembled many social media areas like Bebo and Myspace but on a child-friendly level. Using the cartoon avatars and not giving away personal information is a must which you have managed to hit the nail on the head here. Having worked behind the sceens with Intuitive Media security is the first aspect that is required when working with children the next is the use of inappropriate words. At 'Gridclub' now 'Superclubs' the mediators (adults behind the sceen) ensured that the site was safe and held appropriate content. When children published anything on their page that had an inappropriate word then this was flagged and immediately the mediator on-line was notified. Children being children this happened every day but were fortunately sorted immediately. What i need to know is how will you control this? It is fine placing rules but we all break rules young and old. It is also fine getting people to flag up inappropriate sites but again how long is the site on-line prior to being flagged? Having mediators meant money, hence the reason I became involved with intuitive Media, which in turn resulted in membership fees to children. Social mnedia should not be confined to money especially with children so is there a way to create a ban of inappropriate words - i can give you lots - that will automatically be flagged at your end if placed on a page?
I know i have ranted on about this aspect but i have seen a child's page covered in words to shock when they have given their password to an older sibling.
Now back to playing with the site.
